Demo at South Brunswick Library

Driven team members played to a packed house as we demonstrated our robots and explained the FIRST programs to the audience. We spoke to many future robotics engineers of a wide range of ages. There was a lot of interest in FTC and even more in FLL. Many of our visitors had a chance to try one of our four robots, which were kept busy for our four hour session. Several parents asked for information about how to get their schools involved in these programs.

Driven Nuts won the Think Award for their 2-volume engineering notebook that documented their team’s journey. Their 6 win-1 loss-0 tie record in the qualification rounds made them the 2nd seed team in the Franklin division. They selected the Twisted Bots (FTC 177) from Gloucester, VA, and the Metal Heads (FTC 197) from Rosemont, PA, as their alliance partners. Thanks for being GREAT alliance partners!
