Back from Atlanta!

Both DRIVEN teams have returned from a very successful trip to the FVC World Championship in Atlanta, GA, where they competed from Thursday, April 12th to Friday, April 13th with 98 other teams from the US, Canada, China and Mexico. DRIVEN Bolts (2073) had an excellent performance, emerging from the qualifying rounds as the second seed.

In the Alliance Selection, Bolts picked Team Overdrive (3179) and DRIVEN Nuts (2158) for their partners, forming the Awesome Alliance of Home Educated Roboticists (AAHER). The three teams advanced into the elimination rounds of the tournament. In the quarterfinal round, AAHER faced the seventh seed alliance. They started strong, winning the first game, but ultimately they lost the round two matches to one.

Regardless, everyone had lots of fun, got lots of free stuff, traded lots of buttons, and learned lots of... learning...

Next year for the win!
