Nuts bring home 2 awards from the World Championship

Driven Nuts had a stellar showing at the 2008 FTC World Championship in the Georgia Dome on April 17 & 18. Driven Nuts won the Think Award for their 2-volume engineering notebook that documented their team’s journey. Their 6 win-1 loss-0 tie record in the qualification rounds made them the 2nd seed team in the Franklin division. They selected the Twisted Bots (FTC 177) from Gloucester, VA, and the Metal Heads (FTC 197) from Rosemont, PA, as their alliance partners. Thanks for being GREAT alliance partners!

Bolts are in the news yet again...

Driven Bolts appeared in the newspaper again in the March 13 Asbury Park Press: http://www.app.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2008803130425. This is a nice follow-up article about the team’s win in Connecticut and our invitation to Atlanta.

It seems that in some areas the article was printed on different days – while it was in some papers on Thursday, we found it in the Sunday edition (March 16) on page AA3.

Nuts will join Bolts in Atlanta!

Congratulations to Driven Nuts, who have been invited into the Atlanta competition based on their Think Award win at the Delaware FTC Regional Championship. After earning finalist awards now in two regionals, the team is looking sharp and we are hoping to see them among the top seeds in the World Championship in the Georgia Dome.
