Who is DRIVEN?

DRIVEN Robotics is a community high school robotics group organized by Science Resources. It is very strongly student-run, and each team is overseen by a head coach. For the sixth year, we have two teams competing in a VEX Robotics Competition:

  • Team 76 DRIVEN Nuts (Broomall, PA)

The Driven Nuts team for the 2010-2011 Round-Up season consists of all rookies. Most were part of a First Lego League team prior to this year, but all were new to the VEX system. At their very first competition they made it to the finals, in addition to winning the Build Award. At their second competition they made it to the semi-finals and received the esteemed Excellence Award, which qualified them for the World Championship in Orlando, Florida. This is the first year that the Driven Nuts program has received the Excellence Award.
